Decía Quino sobre Mafalda: “Su vigencia es algo que no puedo entender”, confesó en 2014, tras recibir el Premio Príncipe de Asturias en Comunicación y Humanidades. Con motivo del 70 aniversario de las primeras creaciones de Quino y del 60 aniversario de la primera publicación de una tira de Mafalda, el Instituto Cervantes en Varsovia y la Embajada de Argentina en Polonia organizarán dos exposiciones en una. Por un lado, mostraremos "IMPAR. Demasiado para unos, nada para otros" y, por otro, "Quino, Mafalda y el medioambiente". La suma de ambas compila el universo del autor argentino de origen catalán y las preocupaciones de la humanidad que siguen estando vigentes en la actualidad. Con esta exposición queremos reivindicar la figura de su autor y de la protagonista de sus tiras más famosas. Parte del humor y de la ironía de Mafalda se ha traducido al polaco. Esta será una ocasión para debatir los temas candentes que siguen ocupando el pensamiento político y social de los ciudadanos de hoy en día.
