Mafalda fue la anfitriona en el Paris Parade, el desfile navideño realizado en Chile

Un globo gigante que representa a Mafalda fue el protagonista del tradicional desfile que se realizó en las costaneras de las ciudades de Talcahuano y Coquimbo (Chile), el 20 y 27 de noviembre respectivamente.
El desfile, al que asistieron más de 50.000 personas, fue producido por Romero y Campbell. Además de Mafalda, también se presentaron globos de gran tamaño de otros queridos personajes.
La participación del globo de Mafalda en el evento fue posible gracias a la gestión de los Sucesores de Joaquín S. Lavado (Quino), al Ministerio de Cultura del Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y a Spectrum Licensing & Brand.
El lema de este año fue “Por la construcción de un mundo mejor” y tuvo como objetivo principal crear conciencia sobre el cuidado del medio ambiente.
