El Gobierno italiano ha implantado una serie de medidas draconianas para enfrentar el coronavirus. El decreto del gobierno que está vigente desde este martes ha tomado medidas muy serias, como impedir la libre circulación de personas que quieren entrar o salir de sus municipios de residencia, a no ser que sea por motivos de trabajo, salud o una emergencia. Las clases de todas las escuelas y universidades han sido suspendidas. El decreto establece también que los locales públicos deberán cerrar a las seis de la tarde y siempre deberán mantener las distancia de seguridad entre las personas de al menos un metro. Está prevista asimismo el cierre de teatros, cines y discotecas, así como se prohíbe la realización de eventos sociales como la suspención de los campeonatos de fúbol. El consejo es no salir de casa si no es necesario.
